Hello Dear Friends!
Behind us, a few more days. Last week, Andrew took a blood test to check levels of platelets - the result was not satisfactory - 60 000 units. Mrs. Dr. Smith said that it is possible that he will have to roll the blood but recommended Andrew to make a second test for three days later and on Monday, the score was 260 000 units.
We called a doctor from the hospice and Andrew is now under professional care professionalists who will help him fight the bad days plagued with pain and shortness of breath. He has already written a prescription and bought drugs for this purpose.
This morning Andrew is in Poznań. He went with an antiemetic drug Emend to prevent this terrible vomiting that accompanied him after the last administration of cisplatin.
And now beware!
In today's blood test, platelets was up 750 000!! We are very pleased with this result - it is a large supply of platelets and that is very important because the Gemzar captures much of their level.
Andrew has already received a bed in the ward, and patiently waits for the chemistry.
Tomorrow my Tomuś will take him back home.
Hug you tight write soon!
